'VisionQuest' Episode Release Dates: Full Disney+ Schedule Revealed

Vision has already died enough times to qualify for an MCU frequent-flyer program. Wanda destroyed the Mind Stone in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos rewound the moment and killed him again, then WandaVision conjured one Vision from grief while rebuilding another in ghostly white hardware.

Agatha All Along kept the Maximoff family mystery simmering, but Paul Bettany’s synthezoid remained the missing piece. Now VisionQuest finally hands him the steering wheel, sending White Vision on a strange digital odyssey involving Tommy Maximoff, J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H. and one extremely unwelcome Ultron.

Better still, Disney+ has finally revealed exactly when every chapter arrives.

VisionQuest gets an unusual two-episode rollout on Disney+

VisionQuest begins streaming Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with its first two episodes landing together on Disney+. Marvel’s eight-part finale to the WandaVision trilogy then keeps its foot down with another pair of chapters on each of the following two Wednesdays.

The complete release calendar reads:

October 14: Episodes 1 and 2

October 21: Episodes 3 and 4

October 28: Episodes 5 and 6

November 4: Episode 7

November 11: Episode 8, finale

That structure gives the series three double-helpings before slowing down for its final two weeks. The story follows a rebooted Vision living in hiding after escaping those who wanted to weaponize him. A bounty eventually forces him on the run alongside Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious teenager who may be the reincarnation of his son Tommy.

Inside Vision’s mind, familiar MCU artificial intelligences appear as distinct personas. James Spader returns as Ultron, while J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H. populate the bizarre internal world where Vision wrestles with memory, identity and his artificial family tree.

The finale arrives barely five weeks before Earth faces a considerably larger catastrophe.

Will Vision appear in Avengers: Doomsday?

Vision's Doomsday participation remains deliberately unconfirmed, with Paul Bettany absent from official casting announcements while the Russo brothers repeatedly emphasize that several key appearances are being kept secret until theatrical release.

Showrunner Terry Matalas intentionally crafted VisionQuest's conclusion to allow flexibility for Vision and his son Tommy to transition into the film depending on how the series resolves his digital consciousness quest and family reunification arc.

This strategic ambiguity mirrors Marvel's handling of other returning characters, particularly Loki, whose Endgame Encore finale explicitly positioned him for Doomsday involvement after his multiversal godhood transformation in the Loki series conclusion. For now, White Vision has one mystery to solve before fans start booking him a seat beside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
