Watch: Olivia Munn stars in Imagine Dragons' new 'Cutthroat' music video

The new Imagine Dragons music video for "Cutthroat" is likely the only time you will find Olivia Munn at the DMV.

In it, the 40-year-old actress spends her day at the DMV trying to get her driver's license. She finally gets to the driving test. She grows increasingly annoyed at her instructor, played by Adrian Martinez, who repeatedly makes notes and eats what appears to be a disgusting soup. Munn is distracted, especially when her instructor spazzes out over a fly on his spoon. He fails her. She goes postal and speeds off.

The video is coy in that the opening shot shows Martinez on the ground with what appear to be blood stains on his shirt—made even more ominous by Dan Reynolds singing the chorus: "Only one of us gon' make it out alive and it's not you." By the end, we see that it's just stains from his soup.

Munn shared how she came to star in the Matt Eastin-directed visual:

And Reynolds praised the X-Men and Mission Force One actress:

"Cutthroat" dropped simultaneously with "Follow You" on March 12. The alt-rock band's last full-length studio album, Origins, came back in 2018. Watch the music video for "Follow You"—starring Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson—real-life power couple and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-stars—below.
