Robert Pattinson (or, as we like to call him, RPatz) has quite the resume of varied roles. From being the sullen Edward Cullen to portraying the Dark Knight, there’s not much that this guy cannot do. But this latest role isn’t one that we saw coming at all. Robert Pattinson will portray Chris Hansen from To Catch a Predator fame in an A24 biographical crime drama called Primetime, which just released an intriguing trailer.
In it, we hear Pattinson put on a new voice as he says that man must be made accountable for the decisions that he makes. Honestly, he does not sound recognizable at all. We see several clips across what looks like four video screens as he introduces himself as Chris Hansen and says that you’re about to be a part of television history. That’s absolutely true. To Catch a Predator changed investigative journalism through uncovering sexual predators who preyed on children via the Internet.
We will see Pattinson morph into Chris Hansen when Primetime hits theaters on September 11.
