That’s a 75 percent discount from the normal price of $7.99 per month, and anyone who is currently enrolled in a Title IV accredited college or university qualifies.

The student discount only applies to the Hulu (With Ads) plan for college students, so you won’t get ad-free streams or live TV channels with your subscription. What you will get is access to Hulu’s on-demand library of TV series, movies, originals and more. 

The Hulu on-demand library is loaded with content. You’ll find full past seasons of TV shows, broken down by category, making it easy to find a drama to binge-watch, your favorite animated series from childhood or your comfort show for another rewatch. You’ll also find new episodes from current seasons to stay up-to-date with shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Bachelor and Secret Chef.

Who qualifies for the student discount?

This offer works for both new and existing Hulu subscribers. To get the deal, you’ll just need to sign up from the Hulu student page and get verified through SheerID. Follow the steps below to sign up and start streaming.

• Click on “Sign Up Now”
• Create a Hulu account
• You’ll be redirected to SheerID to verify your student status
• After your information is verified, click Continue
• Enter your billing information to complete sign up with the student discount
