The post-Malone Nuggets team will take on the LA Clippers at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA, this Saturday, April 26, 2025. The Clippers lead 2-1 in the series as they head into Game 4 for the First Round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
Momentum and cohesion favor the Clippers — two ingredients Denver can’t seem to mix.
The LA Clippers entered the First Round of the playoffs having won 19 of their last 28 games after the All-Star break and have a permanent head coach who has made significant adjustments going into the series. The Clippers' defensive strategy was extremely effective in Game 3: The Nuggets were shooting 40.3% and were held to just 13 points in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game.
The Nuggets are the polar opposite of their opponent, suffering from lackluster decisions made by interim head coach David Adelmann, and a team that is frankly, burnt out. For the Denver Nuggets and their fanbase, the frustration is palpable.

To watch the Denver Nuggets vs. LA Clippers in Game 4 of the series, you'll need access to TNT.
The Denver Nuggets' flaws are starting to show — especially as the team treads further into the First Round with the weight of lockerroom drama weighing them down.
In Game 1, the Clippers and Nuggets went to overtime, and it was pure hype that drove the Nuggets to their victory. In Game 2, Kawhi Leonard summoned his 2015 Spurs form and dropped 39 points on Denver. In Game 3, it was a blowout — the Nuggets were undone and couldn't find the basket.
Game 4? Well, the stats are tilting more and more toward the Clippers.

I'm not changing my stance. The Nuggets are going to lose in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs with a Clippers upset. Kawhi just gets better the deeper he goes into any playoff run. He's known to be 2% more efficient in any NBA playoff game — and this is still true in 2025.
The Clippers are a 6-point favorite going into Saturday's Game 4 matchup. After tomorrow's win, the Clippers will be 3-1 against the Nuggets, and there's no shot the Nuggets can mount a comeback.
