The NFL RedZone stream is a must-have for diehard football fans who want to see every touchdown from every game. It’s a favorite of fantasy football players who may follow individual players more than the teams. The two questions on the minds of football fans are how much is RedZone, and how to stream RedZone.

What is NFL RedZone?

For seven hours every Sunday during the NFL’s regular season, NFL RedZone shows you every touchdown from every game. The commercial-free broadcast can feature up to eight games simultaneously in an octobox. When a team enters the red zone, that game switches to a full screen live look-in. If two games are in the red zone at the same time, the coverage may abruptly switch to the game where there’s a better chance for a scoring play.

When no games have teams in the red zone, producers choose which game to feature. The NFL’s blackout rules are exempt from the NFL RedZone, so all red zone scoring plays can be shown in all markets.

Which streaming services offer NFL RedZone?

How to watch NFL RedZone with Hulu + Live TV

  • Pricing begins at $76.99/mo
  • 95+ live TV channels
  • 3-day free trial

Unlike the previous streamers, Hulu + Live TV only has one plan available, with more than 90 channels. But it does come with two options. The first option includes ads, while the second option has no ads for on-demand content. A subscription comes with unlimited cloud DVR,

Hulu + Live TV has a few drawbacks, including the lack of a free trial. However, since there are no contracts, you can cancel at any time. It also is less generous with simultaneous streaming, only allowing users to stream on up to two screens at once. But, for an extra $10 a month, you can stream on unlimited devices at home and add a third stream outside of the home.

With Hulu’s extensive streaming library included in Hulu + Live TV, you’ll have access to Hulu Originals, along with movies and current and full seasons of many series. Additionally, you can add ESPN Plus, Disney Plus (With Ads), Max, Cinemax, Showtime and Starz, along with sports and entertainment packages.

NFL RedZone comes with the Sports add-on package, which runs an extra $10 a month.

What sports offerings does Hulu + Live TV provide?

In addition to local channels and select RSNs, Hulu + Live TV comes with the ACC Network, Big 10 Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, ESPNU, FS1, FS2, Golf Network, NFL Network and SEC Network.

Hulu + Live TV is a great service for sports lovers who also want a wide variety of entertainment channels. However, it has fewer of the sports channels than some of the other providers.

DIRECTV STREAM has the feel of a cable service, with four plans, ranging from 75 to 140-plus channels in the four plans. While DIRECTV STREAM was missing NFL RedZone in its lineup, DIRECTV and the NFL announced in June 2023 that the channel would be coming back, as part of the Choice package and above.

You’ll be able to stream NFL RedZone on DIRECTV STREAM on an unlimited number of devices if you’re at home, but only on three devices if you’re away from home. All four plans include an unlimited amount of DVR storage. You can test the service with a five-day free trial.

What sports offerings does DIRECTV STREAM provide?

DIRECTV was the home of NFL Sunday Ticket for years. Although the company lost that deal, the streamer added NFL RedZone, which will be available as part of its Sports Pack for an extra $15 a month.

The entry-level Entertainment package comes with ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, FS1, Golf Channel, MLB Network, NBA TV and the Tennis Channel. The ACC Network, Big Ten Network, ESPN News, Fanduel TV, Motor Trend and the SEC Network are added with the Choice package. The top two packages — Ultimate and Premier — also have the CBS Sports Network, FS2, NHL Network, Sportsman Channel and TUDN. Regional sports networks (RSNs) are available in select markets. The service also comes with your local networks, such as ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC

DIRECTV STREAM is a great option for people who want a bit more control over their channel options. With four plans, viewers can select the price and plan that works best for them.

How to watch NFL RedZone with Sling TV

  • Pricing begins at $40.00/mo
  • 31+ live TV channels
  • Free trial currently unavailable

Sling TV is more of a budget streamer with a limited number of channels. It has three options, two at $40 a month and a third option that combines the other two plans for $55 a month. Like Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV does not offer a free trial. But, like the previous carrier, there are no contracts, so you can cancel at any time.

With the Sling Orange package, you can only stream on one device at a time. That number increases to three simultaneous streams with the Sling Blue package. With the combined Sling Orange + Sling Blue package, you can have four simultaneous streams. While Sling TV has a small number of included channels, it offers a selection of add-on packages and channels for an additional monthly fee. Adding several of these options can bring the total rate in line with the other providers.

Sling TV has several drawbacks, including its DVR storage. Each plan only comes with 50 hours, but this can be upgraded to 200 hours for an additional $5 per month. Additionally, local channels and RSNs are not available in most locations.

NFL RedZone is included in the Sports Extra package for the Sling Blue plan for an additional $11 a month. If you have the combined Orange + Blue package, the Sports Extra package is an added $15 a month.

What sports offerings does Sling TV provide?

Sling Orange is the “sports” plan and comes with ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and Motor Trend. But Sling Blue has FS1 and the NFL Network.

The Sports Extra package for Sling Orange has the ACC Network, beIn Sports, ESPNU, ESPN News, Longhorn Network, MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, NBA TV, NHL Network, Pac 12 Network, SEC Network and the Tennis Channel. For Sling Blue, that package changes to include the Big 10 Network, FS2, Golf Channel, MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, NBA TV, NFL RedZone, NHL Network, Pac 12 Network and the Tennis Channel.

In order to get both ESPN and the NFL Network, you’ll need the combined package, which increases the rate to $55 a month.

Despite its drawbacks, Sling TV is good for people on a budget who are willing to accept fewer options.
