The San Francisco Giants (15-9) are third in the National League West — not due to poor performance, but because they exist in a division with the Dodgers, Padres, and Diamondbacks, who are all having phenomenal 2025 MLB seasons (so far).
Tonight, the Giants take on the Brewers in San Francisco at Oracle Park for game three of the four-game regular season April matchup. The Giants have already won the first two games in the current series.
The Milwaukee Brewers (13-11) look OK for 2025, but...they're not the powerhouse they were in the 2024 MLB season. Ever since the Mets demoralized the Brewers in the 2024 MLB Wildcard Series 2-1 in games, the Brew Crew hasn't been the same...*cue intense flashbacks of Pete Alonso hitting the most clutch homerun of his entire MLB career over the Brewers bullpen in game three of the Wildcard Series*
Reliable and full of stamina, Brewers right-hander Logan Webb (2.40 ERA) will try to outdo the phenomenal early-season performances of Giants right-hander Freddy Peralta (1.91 ERA). Needless to say, I don't think the Brewers are winning this one tonight, either.

As of April 23, 2025, there are two games left in the four-game April 2025 matchup series between the Brewers and Giants. The Giants have taken the first two and will play the next two all at home. This third game is favored to be won by the Giants — I'm trusting the spread here. The odds that the Giants win at least one of the next two games left in the series is quite high, and therefore, we can assume that the four-game series is going to the San Francisco Giants.
