Watch on DISH (Our preferred streaming alternative)

  • Pricing begins at $84.99/mo
  • 190+ channels
  • No contract required

This season, DISH is making it easy for those who prefer a more traditional satellite TV service to watch pro live network games. You can watch live coverage of many pro football games, including most on Wild Card Weekend, on your local channels, where you’ll find coverage for your local team. For a limited time, when new customers purchase America’s top 120 Plus, 200 or 250 packages, you’ll also get access to the Multi-Sport package with NFL Network, NFL RedZone and more channels for sports coverage.

Watch on DIRECTV STREAM

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 75+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

DIRECTV STREAM is one of our go-to recommendations for sports streamers, and it’s a solid choice if you want to watch the NFC Championship — and much more. For the basics, you’ll be fine with just the Entertainment plan, which costs $79.99 a month and includes the big game on Fox, the AFC Championship on CBS, and more sports on staple networks like ESPN, ESPN2 and Fox Sports 1 (FS1).

If you want more sports action, the Choice plan is one of the best options available. It costs $108.99 a month and includes regional sports networks (RSNs) and more than 15 major national sports networks. From there, you can expand your sports and entertainment even further with the top-tier plans for $119.99 to $164.99 per month. Regardless of which DIRECTV STREAM plan you choose, you’ll have unlimited cloud DVR storage and no cap on simultaneous streams at home. If you want to try it out for the NFC Championship, you can take advantage of DIRECTV STREAM's five-day free trial.

Watch on Fubo

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 161+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

If you’re a die-hard sports streamer looking for as much action as possible, Fubo is probably your best bet. Its basic Pro plan includes over 30 sports networks and starts at $79.99 a month. You’ll be able to watch the NFC and AFC Championships, plus much more on your local RSNs. The plan has more sports than most competitors' top-tier plans, with networks like ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, NFL Network, Big Ten Network, SEC Network, beIN Sports, and more. You’ll also get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR and up to 10 simultaneous streams at home. Note that there is a market-specific regional sports fee of up to $14.99 a month.

Fubo doesn’t stop there in catering to sports lovers. It offers plenty of upgrade options to add even more sports, news and entertainment. It’s possible to get nearly 300 channels here, along with premium add-ons like SHOWTIME or STARZ. However, there are some big gaps worth mentioning, as Fubo doesn’t carry popular channels like TBS, TNT, TruTV, CNN and BBC. If you want to try it out over Championship Weekend, you can get a free trial of up to seven days.

Watch on Hulu + Live TV

  • Pricing begins at $76.99/mo
  • 95+ live TV channels
  • 3-day free trial

Unlike Fubo, Hulu + Live TV aims to cater to cord-cutters who want a wide variety of content. It’s our top choice for an all-in-one streaming package because it balances live TV and on-demand content so well. For $76.99 a month, Hulu + Live TV offers 90 live TV channels, including local channels like Fox and CBS for the big games. You’ll also get access to Disney Plus and Hulu’s on-demand library, along with a huge slate of extra live and on-demand sports content on ESPN Plus.

Hulu + Live TV doesn’t offer RSNs in most markets, but it does feature around a dozen of the most popular sports channels like ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, FS1, NFL Network and CBS Sports Network. You can add a few more sports channels with the Sports Add-on, and a subscription comes with unlimited cloud DVR storage. Unfortunately, there’s no Hulu + Live TV free trial for you to try it out over Championship Weekend.

Watch on Sling TV

  • Pricing begins at $40.00/mo
  • 31+ live TV channels
  • Free trial currently unavailable

If budget is a big concern for you, Sling TV offers another option for watching the NFC Championship game. It’s more limited, but it’s possible to put together a plan that works for the big game. Fox is only available in select markets with Sling Blue, so you should check to see if it’s included in your market. If so, you can watch the Lions take on the 49ers for just $40 per month on Sling Blue, and you may even be able to get half off your first month.

Even if you can’t get Fox, Sling is still worth a closer look for its sports coverage. Sling Orange & Blue costs only $55 a month and includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, FS1, NFL Network, TBS, TNT, and TruTV for many of the most popular sporting events. You can then add the Sports Extra add-on for $15 a month to expand your coverage with top channels like MLB Network, NBA TV, NHL Network, ESPNU, Big Ten Network, SEC Network and more. Unfortunately, Sling doesn’t offer RSNs or CBS, so you may have to supplement your coverage with an antenna and a subscription to a service like Bally Sports Plus.

Watch on YouTube TV

  • Pricing begins at $72.99/mo
  • 100+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

For the channel lineup, YouTube TV is tough to beat. The base plan starts at $72.99 a month and includes over 110 of the most popular sports, news, and entertainment channels — more than any other platform at this price point. You can watch the NFC and AFC Championship games, plus much more action on channels like FS1, ESPN, NFL Network, Big Ten Network, TBS, TNT and more. YouTube TV even offers a free trial of up to 14 days, so you may be able to test it out just in time for Championship Weekend.

You won’t find any RSNs on YouTube TV, so that may be a deal-breaker for some fans who want to keep up with their favorite local and national teams in one place. However, it includes unlimited cloud DVR storage, three simultaneous streams, and a wide range of add-ons for more entertainment.
