Season 33 of 'The Ultimate Fighter' premieres Tuesday, May 27, at 10 p.m. ET exclusively on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+. This latest installment will mark the show's 20th anniversary and feature UFC Hall of Famers Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen competing as coaches.
This is the first time the show has featured retired fighters as coaches. In previous seasons, the show would feature two coaches who were active fighters in the UFC, and those fighters also had a scheduled matchup in the near future, often for a championship belt. This allowed fans to gain an insider look at tensions building between the two coaches ahead of their fight, on top of watching young fighters try to earn their spot in the UFC.
With both of these guys being out of the game for a while, this season is sure to have some unique vibes ahead. Here's everything you need to know to watch Good Guy vs Bad Guy in season 33 of 'The Ultimate Fighter' on ESPN.
Season 33 of 'The Ultimate Fighter' will be available exclusively on ESPN+, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes. You can subscribe to ESPN+ as a standalone subscription for $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year. However, a subscription to ESPN+ does not grant access to ESPN's traditional networks. So to watch on ESPN2 or ESPN Deportes, you would need a live TV subscription through a cable, satellite, or digital provider, like DIRECTV, Xfinity, or Hulu + Live TV.
With a Hulu + Live TV subscription, you get access to ESPN's traditional networks, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, and ESPN U, as well as full access to the on-demand library of content for Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+. A Hulu + Live TV subscription starts at $82.99 per month and offers a 3-day free trial to eligible customers
You can also subscribe to ESPN+ through the Disney Bundle starting at $16.99 per month. But the Disney Bundle does not include live channels with a subscription, so you still won't have access to ESPN2 or ESPN Deportes with this option.
This season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' will feature two Hall of Fame fighters, Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen, as this year's coaches. The two co-host a podcast together called 'Good Guy / Bad Guy' and have both been retired from the UFC for some years. Since this is the first time the show has had two inactive fighters coaching, it is sure to be a unique season in the franchise.
