The Grand Slam season in tennis is once again coming to a close. The fourth and final tournament — the U.S. Open — runs from Aug.19 through Sept. 8, 2024, and this year’s event is set to be a thriller. This annual showdown has been in play since the late 19th century, wrapping up the summer every year in Queens, New York.

Coming on the heels of the Paris Summer Olympics, this year’s competition will feature many familiar faces, including Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka. As with last year’s tournament, it will be easy to keep up with the action across ESPN networks. Read on to find out which live TV streaming services give you access to the U.S. Open in 2024.

Where to watch the US Open

ESPN has held exclusive rights to the U.S. Open since 2015, airing the matches exclusively across its family of networks. Marquee showdowns will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2. ESPN3 and the company’s over-the-top (OTT) platform, ESPN Plus, will also stream every match on every court throughout the tournament.

Here’s where you can find these networks across the major live TV streaming services.

Watch the US Open on ESPN Plus

  • Pricing begins at $11.99/mo
  • Thousands of live events
  • Free trial currently unavailable

If you’re primarily concerned with watching every U.S. Open match, ESPN Plus is your best bet. The OTT platform will feature every single matchup in 2024, and it even includes archives of standout matches from previous tournaments.

ESPN Plus is home to plenty of additional tennis action, plus extensive coverage for a range of pro and collegiate sports. You can find NHL games and MLB games, UFC fights, European soccer matches and plenty of college football. ESPN Plus is also included with a subscription to Hulu + Live TV or the Disney Bundle.

Watch the US Open on DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV Stream logo
  • Pricing begins at $86.99/mo
  • 90+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

DIRECTV STREAM is one of the best options for sports-loving cord-cutters. The platform features more than 15 sports networks, including ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 for tennis fans. Although you can get all those channels in the basic Entertainment plan, we recommend upgrading to the Choice plan for the best value.

The Choice plan offers you loads of extra sports coverage on channels like Fox Sports 1 (FS1), NFL Network, NBA TV and Tennis Channel. You’ll also get any regional sports networks (RSNs) for your local market. All DIRECTV STREAM plans include unlimited cloud DVR storage, and you can stream on an unlimited number of devices at home.

Watch the US Open on Fubo

Fubo logo
  • Pricing begins at $84.99/mo.
  • 211+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

Fubo is even more geared toward sports fans than DIRECTV STREAM. In its basic Essential plan, you’ll find over 30 sports networks, including ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 for all the big U.S. Open matches. The plan also features other marquee networks like Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, beIN SPORTS and more.

You can upgrade your Fubo plan or choose from several add-ons to boost your channel lineup with even more sports coverage. Upgrading to a Pro or Elite plan, for example, will add Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) to your plan, though this will also include a Regional Sports Fee based on your area.  Whichever option you choose, your plan will include unlimited Cloud DVR and up to 10 simultaneous streams at home, plus 3 on the go. The biggest downside of Fubo for sports fans? It doesn’t include key networks like TBS, TNT and TruTV.

Watch the US Open on Hulu + Live TV

Hulu logo
  • Pricing begins at $82.99/mo
  • 95+ live TV channels
  • 3-day free trial

Hulu + Live TV is one of only two live TV platforms that will feature coverage of every match on every court during the 2024 U.S. Open. That’s because a subscription includes access to ESPN Plus, in addition to ABC, ESPN and ESPN2.

Besides complete U.S. Open coverage, Hulu + Live TV features more than 95 channels and plenty of sports on networks like FS1, FS2, NFL Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPNU, Big Ten Network, ACCN and more. It also unlocks access to Hulu’s full on-demand library and Disney Plus. You’d be hard-pressed to find that much content packed into one package on any other streaming platform. All Hulu + Live TV plans also come with unlimited cloud DVR storage, but RSNs are only available in a few select markets.

Watch the US Open on Sling TV

Sling TV logo
  • Pricing begins at $45.99/mo.
  • 35+ live TV channels
  • Free trial currently unavailable

Sling TV may not have as much sports coverage as some of its competitors, but it stands out for tennis fans as the only platform to feature ESPN3. That means you can watch every U.S. Open match live across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3 here, all with just a subscription to Sling Orange for a lower monthly cost than competitors. This plan also includes sports on TBS and TNT.

If you want more live sports, you can upgrade to Sling Orange & Blue to get NFL Network and FS1. The Sports Extra add-on brings even more action on networks like Tennis Channel, SEC Network, Big Ten Network, ESPNU, MLB Network and NBA TV. All Sling plans come with 50 hours of cloud DVR storage, but the platform doesn’t carry any RSNs.

Watch the US Open on YouTube TV

That all comes within one of the best overall channel lineups you’ll find on any live TV streaming platform. YouTube TV features more than 130 sports, news, entertainment and family channels, along with a vast selection of add-ons to let you customize your plan.
