U.S. Figure Skater Alysa Liu Reveals Olympics 'Crush'

While Liu had the chance to hang out with friends during her stint in Milan, she did not have much downtime throughout the Olympics. In fact, the 20-year-old barely got any sleep, especially after winning her second gold in the individual competition.

In one of her interviews, Liu shared a personal detail about someone she admires. The defending World Figure Skating champion revealed her “Olympic crush.”

"I think my Olympic crush is Suni Lee,” Liu confessed. “She is so pretty and very stylized."

Lee did not compete in the Winter Games. She is a decorated gymnast who took center stage in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Lee, 22, won a gold medal in the team all-around event. She also bagged two bronze medals, in the uneven bars and the individual all-around.

Lee also won three medals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics — including gold in the individual all-around — making her a six-time Olympic medalist.

Apart from Lee’s elite talent as a gymnast, Liu also admires the two-time U.S. national champion for her looks. Lee has emerged as a fashion icon admired by millions of fans, and Liu is among them.  

The support goes both ways. Lee recently shouted out Liu in one of the latter’s Instagram posts. Lee had one word for the Winter Games star: “aura.”
