Yuki Tsunoda Loses Phone, Fans Dive in to Help

Yuki Tsunoda had an unexpected moment off the track when his phone decided to “escape” during a trip to Lake Como. The Red Bull Racing star shared the story on Instagram, revealing that fans even attempted to retrieve it from the water. 

“Appreciate the generous people actually having a look in Lake Como for my phone an finding some real ones,” Tsunoda wrote, adding a laughing emoji. 

He reassured his followers not to worry, saying, “Don’t worry I have a new one,” before jokinhgly recommending “deeper pockets when around water cause phones like to escape.”

The incident quickle gained traction online, with fans praising Tsunoda’s good humor and kindness in acknowledging those who tried to help.

It’s not the first time Tsunoda has showin his down-to-earth personality off track. Known for his candid humor and lighthearted approach to life outside racing, this incident adds yet another chapter to his growing fan-favorite status. 

While Tsunoda now may have a replacement phone, it isn’t too far-fetched to say that Lake Como has a “souvenir” of the F1 driver. Some even teased Red Bull to give him “Waterproof pockets” for the next race weekend.
