The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7 of the World Series, 5-4.
The winner-take-all game was thrilling. Miguel Rojas hit a game-tying home run in the top of the ninth inning, which sent the game to extra innings.
In the 10th inning, Dodgers catcher Will Smith hit a solo home run that proved to be the difference maker.
In turn, it gave the Dodgers their ninth World Series title in franchise history and their second in a row.
Former Los Angeles Lakers star Magic Johnson, who has a minority stake of the Dodgers, celebrated the title with a series of posts.
Johnson posted a tweet with 18 trophies.
Then he responded with another, noting all the titles he has been part of.
"18 Championship rings for me! NCAA Championship with MSU, 11 Lakers (5 playing, 5 as an owner and 1 as an executive), 1 LA Sparks, 1 LAFC, 1 Team Liquid, and now 3 with the Dodgers!"

When Mark Walter's Guggenheim Baseball Management bought the Dodgers in 2012, Johnson contributed $50 million, giving him a 2.3 percent stake in the franchise.
Johnson won five titles playing with the Lakers, won a title with Michigan State, and now has continued as a partial owner of several LA teams.
The Lakers legend also owns part of the WNBA team, the Los Angeles Sparks, and the Los Angeles Football Club of the MLS, while having stakes in the Washington Commanders and the Washington Spirit of the NWSL.
