From October 17th until 23rd, ATP players will compete in Scandinavia at the 2022 Stockholm Open which will be played on the hard indoor court. With the exception of 1989–1994 when it was hosted at the Globe Arena, the Stockholm Open has always been staged at the Kungliga Tennishallen since its inaugural event in 1969. It will be no different in 2022 as some familiar names will come to the capital of Sweden. Denis Shapovalov is one of the most interesting names on the entry list as the Canadian won his first and only ATP title at the Stockholm Open three years ago and last year, he played in the final. But he lost to Tommy Paul, who will be also competing this year and he will be joined by a few more fellow Americans. 2022 US Open semifinalist, Frances Tiafoe will compete in Stockholm as well and Maxime Cressy will also make an appearance.
