With the Chicago Bulls' season teetering between playoff hopes and a lottery pick, fans are eager to scout potential draft prospects during the NCAA Tournament. Here’s a quick recap of second-round performances from players potentially within the Bulls' reach.

Honorable Mentions: Egor Demin, Danny Wolf, Nique Clifford, Tyrese Proctor, and Walter Clayton Jr.

Edgecombe Falls to Duke's Three-Headed Devil

VJ Edgecombe was no match for the powerhouse that is Duke. Once again, Cooper Flagg delivered an incredible performance, and Kon Knueppel showed improvement. Edgecombe gave it his all, but the Blue Devils proved too strong. Before halftime, Duke went on a 24-6 run, closing the half with a 17-point lead. This loss doesn’t harm Edgecombe’s draft stock but heightens interest in Knueppel.

Cooper Flagg: 18 points | 9 rebounds | 6 assists | 7-9 FT

VJ Edgecombe: 16 points | 6 rebounds | 50.0 FG% | 1-5 3P

Kon Knueppel: 12 points | 3 assists | 80.0 FG% | 2-3 3P

Khaman Maluach: 8 points | 5 rebounds | 2 blocks | 100 FG%

Queen Sent Colorado State Home with Game-Winner

Derik Queen ensured Maryland's advancement with a game-winning fadeaway shot. After the game, Maryland’s head coach, Kevin Willard, discussed the trust he had in Queen during that final possession. While many teams rely on their best player in clutch situations, it’s rare for a center to hold that role. NBA executives may value Queen being trusted by his coach and teammates for such a crucial play.

Derik Queen: 17 points | 6 rebounds | 2 blocks | 2-3 3P

McNeeley and Jakucionis Don't Advance While Richardson Underwhelmed

All three players underperformed in the second round, leading to an early exit for Liam McNeeley and Kasparas Jakucionis. UConn briefly reminded everyone why they were back-to-back NCAA champions until Walter Clayton Jr. took control. Like last year, Illinois lacked a solid game plan, causing doubts about Jakucionis’ NBA potential. Jase Richardson may have advanced, but not due to his performance. Overall, lottery teams will question whether these players can enhance their rosters.

Liam McNeeley: 22 points | 37.5 FG% | 25.0 3P% | 8-8 FT

Kasparas Jakucionis: 13 points | 5 rebounds | 6 turnovers | 2-9 3P

Jase Richardson: 6 points | 10.0 FG% | 0-5 3P
