2025 WNBA Draft Ticket Prices Soaring - Nearly Sold Out

Yesterday's price is not today's price for the WNBA and its draft.

Per Michele Steele of ESPN, it will cost fans "nearly double" to attend this year's event thanks to what's being reported as "unprecedented demand" for the second straight offseason.

The news should come as no surprise to Golden State Valkyries president Jess Smith who told the outlet back in February that she's noticed a significant increase in fan interest when it comes to women's basketball.

"People follow superstars and follow talent, right? And the household names that now exist within women's sports, and specifically in women's basketball and the NCAA tournament, there's people that are coming up to me talking about the freshman class," Smith said.

"And the fact that those are the questions being asked right now really point to such an incredible future of that continued growth in viewership and attendance," she concluded.

The lowest-priced general admission tickets for Monday night's draft in Manhattan were going for $99 on the secondary market and are already sold out (via Ticketmaster) — with premium tickets going for close to $300.

As recently as a couple of years ago, the WNBA Draft's in-venue audience was limited to athletes' families, friends and league sponsors. Now The W can barely keep up with the amount of fans looking to take in the action.

The 2025 WNBA Draft airs 48 hours from now at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN where UConn's Paige Bueckers is expected to go first overall to the Dallas Wings.
