The Tennessee Vols secured a big win on the recruiting trail on Thursday.
2026 four-star offensive lineman Kamari Blair, 6-foot-5/281 lbs from Clarksville, TN, committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks in July.
On Thursday, Blair flipped his commitment to Tennessee.
Blair is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 27 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 9 player in the state of Tennessee.
The four-star recruit told On3 that "distance" was a big factor in his decision to flip to Tennessee.
Knoxville is four hours closer to Blair's hometown than Columbia is.
2026 five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, who has been committed to Tennessee for a year, took to Twitter/X.com on Thursday to react to Blair's decision.
"Yessir, GBO," tweeted Brandon, along with some orange emojis.
