Katy Knoll knocked in a rebound at 9:57 of the third overtime, lifting Minnesota to a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Charge on Saturday in Saint Paul, Minn., and moving the Frost one win away from a second consecutive PWHL championship.

Klara Hymlarova fired a shot in the third OT, and Gwyneth Philips made the stop. The puck bounced out front to Knoll, who delivered her second goal of the postseason.

The winning tally came just over a minute after the Frost killed off a cross-checking penalty called on Claire Thompson.

Minnesota failed to take advantage of a power play in the second overtime, when Rebecca Leslie was off for hooking.

Ottawa's Emily Clark opened the scoring at 11:38 of the first period when she drove in a short shot from the right side following a scramble in front of the net.

Minnesota's Lee Stecklein drove in a wrist shot from just inside the blue line to level at 2:58 of the second period.

Frost goalie Maddie Rooney made 35 saves. Philips stopped 45 shots.
