49ers' Fred Warner ranked No. 16 on NFL Top 100 Players of 2025
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL Top 100 Players of 2025 countdown continues, and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner lands at No. 16 — five spots lower than his 2024 ranking.

"Everything that he does is so intentional," quarterback Brock Purdy said in an interview for the reveal. "He just doesn't take a break. A future Hall of Famer."

Tight end George Kittle added, "The tone that he sets on the field, and the standard that he holds himself to, he's a fantastic football player."

Warner is coming off another dominant season in 2024, despite battling an ankle fracture for much of the year. He finished with 131 tackles (five for a loss), two quarterback hits, two interceptions, a touchdown, a sack, seven passes defensed, and four forced fumbles.

Warner's performance earned him a fourth Pro Bowl selection and a fourth All-Pro nod, further cementing his reputation as one of the NFL's best defensive players.

Since being drafted in 2018, Warner has totaled 897 tackles, 10 sacks, 10 interceptions, two touchdowns, 53 passes defensed, and 15 forced fumbles, building a career résumé worthy of Hall of Fame consideration.
