4-Star DB Zavier Mincey commits to Alabama football

Zavier Mincey announced his committed to Alabama football Saturday at the All-American Bowl.

Mincey attends Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. He garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. 

The Florida product chose Alabama over Miami, Florida State and Florida. 

At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Mincey is a long defensive back, who excels in man coverage with his length and ability to stick with receivers. He makes plays on the football and is an effective tackler in space. He has the potential to play multiple positions in the secondary at the next level.
