There are many players across the state of Alabama who are under the radar to collegiate programs.
Here are 7 prospects to watch for this upcoming season:
Amyre is a 2029 prospect who will be contributing early for the Gators. He has elite size at 5-foot-10 160 despite being a rising freshman. He has camped at Auburn and UAB. The early interest comes as no surprise because the young man has the potential to be one of the top ranked prospects in the 2029 class.
I had the chance to attend the @AuburnU football camp this weekend with my trainer @rexx_ray, where I met some fantastic coaches, including @coachcrimedawg @CoachRich07 @therealkwat – it was a great camp and I’m looking forward to getting back to work for more experiences like… pic.twitter.com/nlz7hN6JHy

Sollie has all the tools to be one of the top passers in the state. Standing at 6-foot-3 180 pounds, he has a rocket of an arm and he can make all the throws on the field. The kid can also move around the pocket which is probably where he is most dangerous. Sollie recently visited the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn and Tennessee.
Hoover coaches have called this young man one of the hardest workers on the team. He is also one of the most versatile players at his position in the state. Lassiter can line up at outside corner, nickel, or safety. This young man has a solid IQ for the game and he is tough as nails at 5-foot-9 160. The Bucs will look to Lassiter at times to solidify this defensive presence.
If you are looking for a 2027 prospect to break out this upcoming year, remember the name Carson Stephens. The 6-foot-4 215 pound tight end is the mismatch in this Saints offense led by Offensive Coordinator Drew Tran. Stephens has good route running ability, combined with the speed to beat linebackers and the size to overpower any secondary. His catch radius is something to see and it is a matter of time before coaches start to take notice. Stephens recently visited the University of South Alabama.
Judson Harris is a multi-sport athlete. He plays football and baseball for the Dolphins. Back in 2023, as a freshman Harris led Gulf Shores to their first championship in school history, going 15-0. He is 5-11 160 and can make every throw on the field. Over the course of 22 games, he has accounted for over 2,100 yards and 19 touchdowns. The rising Junior will look to get the Dolphins back into the playoffs.

Kaden is likely one of the most underrated prospects in the state. He is 6-foot-3 290 pounds and moves quickly for a a player his size. His ability to knock defenders off the ball is something to watch. His pass blocking is smooth and patient. He does not reach and get his hands out of place. The versatility to place tackle or guard will be attractive to different programs across the country. Forrest recently visited the University of Alabama. He holds offers from UAB, Tulsa, West Alabama and Alabama A&M.
Dothan’s head football coach Jed Kennedy described AJ as a great kid and a hard worker. In 2 seasons at Dothan, Alexander rushed for 2,563 yards and 25 touchdowns. He has registered 12 100+ yard rushing games and averaged 128 yards per game with 7.6 yards per carry. Alexander holds offers from North Alabama, Appalachian State, Liberty and Jacksonville State.
