Being a fan of Ross Reels and a fan of cold beer, I was happy to learn of the creative collaboration between Ross and Coors to produce the Coors Banquet Animas fly reel. This collaboration is to mark an even more important event: the financial support from Ross Reels and Coors to help fund Trout Unlimited's Embrace a Stream grant program. For Ross and Coors it's not just lip service, but real money going to Trout Unlimited to take care of the very waters we fly fish.

    Following the overwhelming success of the initial limited edition 5/6 Coors Banquet Animas Ross Reels, this collaboration is introducing two additional limited edition reels in a 4/5 and 7/8 size, priced at $528 each. 

This initiative not only commemorates the enduring legacies of two iconic brands but also underscores their shared dedication to preserving the great outdoors through substantial support of Trout Unlimited’s Embrace A Stream grant program by contributing $100,000; with $50,000 from Coors Banquet and $50,000 from Ross Reels.

The initial launch of the 5/6 Coors Banquet Animas Ross Reels set a remarkable precedent, selling out rapidly online and in select fly shops within the first few days. The enthusiasm and demand for these meticulously crafted reels highlighted the strong connection between the angling community, the Coors Banquet brand, and the conservation efforts the partnership aims to support.

This contribution will bolster the Embrace A Stream grant program, directly benefiting four major river systems: Clear Creek in Colorado, Big Hole in Montana, Provo in Utah, and La Barge in Wyoming.
