Fiorentina are preparing to welcome two new young strikers, as while Roberto Piccoli says goodbye to Cagliari, Sulayman Jallow is ready to arrive too.

The Viola have transformed their attack this summer, already bringing in veteran Edin Dzeko to support Moise Kean.

Piccoli and Jallow to bolster Fiorentina attack

We had already reported on the agreement with Cagliari for Piccoli, which will be worth circa €25m plus add-ons.

It was decided to postpone the transfer until after the two teams had played in the opening Serie A weekend, which resulted in a 1-1 draw last night.

He said goodbye to the Sardinian supporters today via Instagram, confirming it was “an honour to wear this jersey.”

Piccoli will not be the only new arrival for the Fiorentina attack, because we can also confirm an agreement has been reached with 18-year-old Sulayman Jallow.

He is already in Florence and does not need to undergo a medical, as it was already performed with the Rimini staff, but he should sign the contract along with his agent Luigi Sorrentino on Tuesday.

The Viola have beaten the likes of Napoli, Bologna, Parma and Palermo to the centre-forward, a product of the Rimin youth academy.
