The Phantoms, according to Tony Androckitis of InsideAHLHockey, are adding defenseman Andrew Perrott, who’s coming off a career-high in penalty minutes. Perrott played 51 games for Rockford last season, recording four points on a goal and three assists; he was a minus-six.

Perrott spent four seasons in the OHL. He started with the London Knights. Then played for the Owen Sound Attack before joining the Windsor Spitfires. In 239 career OHL games, he had 100 points on 16 goals and 84 assists. He was a plus-three with 232 penalty minutes. In 34 playoff games, he had 18 points on seven goals and 11 assists. He was a plus-two with 37 penalty minutes. Between that time, he also played in 23 games in Slovakia, recording four goals and six assists. He was a +11 with 50 penalty minutes.

Perrott has appeared in 103 AHL games between two teams. He had 15 points on four goals and 11 assists. He was a minus-eight with 204 penalty minutes. In three playoff games, he has a goal and is a plus-three. In 114 ECHL games with two teams, he has 50 points on 12 goals and 38 assists. He’s a +31 with 212 penalty minutes and four power-play goals. In 14 playoff games, he had two goals and three assists; he was a minus-seven.
