The Air Jordan 10 'Shadow' has been released three times, and each time, the shade of grey has been a little different. If you're a stickler for the details, the most recent release is as close to the original as one can hope. It still brings the dark-sneaker energy that has become the rage. Let's talk sneakers.

The 2025 'Shadow' originally dropped on Nike SNKRS and at select Jordan Brand retailers, including DTLR, Shiekh, and Snipes. With release in the rearview, the resale market is now your most reliable option.
GOAT currently lists new pairs in the $165-$179 range, with some used pairs available around $155. StockX is moving most sizes below retail too, while Stadium Goods sits a touch higher starting at $183. That puts the 'Shadow' 10 in rare buyer-friendly territory roughly six months after release.
Of the three 'Shadow' releases (2008, 2018, and 2025), the 2025 pair lands in the middle on grey tone — darker than the 2018 'Dark Shadow' but lighter than the 2008 Countdown Pack. The charred grey suede upper, tumbled black leather hits on the mudguard and toe area, and red Jumpman branding are faithful to the 1994 OG.
This release also keeps the AJ10's trademarks intact: the striped midsole and Michael Jordan's career accomplishments etched into the outsole. Purists still rate the 2018 'Dark Shadow' highest for OG-accurate Jumpman placement, but the 2025 pair gets closer to the original blocking and material story than 2008 did.
The Air Jordan 10 doesn't get the love of the AJ1, AJ3, or AJ11, which is precisely why the 'Shadow' lands as a steal in 2026. Tinker Hatfield's design choice to honor Jordan's accomplishments on the outsole still hits as one of the most personal storytelling moves in Jordan Brand history.
The dark-sneaker wave running through the culture right now also plays directly into the 'Shadow' colorway's strength — a clean black-and-grey palette built for everyday wear with no loud branding fighting for attention.
If you missed it at retail or skipped it on release, this is the moment to revisit. Premium AJ10 quality at sub-retail resale pricing is not the kind of opportunity that lasts forever, especially with the silhouette still flying under the radar.
For purists, the 2018 'Dark Shadow' remains the most OG-accurate of the three. For everyone else, the 2025 release brings the right colorway, the right materials, and a price that has settled in your favor.
