Alabama football’s five-star commit, Xavier Griffin has shut down his recruitment.
Griffin is a product of Gainesville High School in Georgia. He is currently one of the Crimson Tide’s five 2026 commits.
The five-star recently told Touchdown Alabama what went into his decision to commit to the Crimson Tide.
“I would say it was the brotherhood and the relationship that I have with the players that’s there now,” Griffin said. “And also, just like everything that really matters, from the training staff to the nutrition staff, everything was just right. And I feel like every other school didn’t really touch on those things.”
The Alabama native is now locked in on his future with Alabama.
Griffin is a 6-foot-4 edge with a quick twitch, who can play sideline to sideline. The Alabama native is the true definition of a versatile linebacker prospect with his blend of size and athleticism along with his ability to make plays from the edge and off the ball.
