Alabama commit sends message to recruits: 'If you want to stay home…come to the best team in the state'

Alabama football’s new five-star commit, Cederian Morgan feels the best players in Alabama should choose the Crimson Tide if they want to stay home.

Morgan committed to the Crimson Tide Wednesday over Auburn and a long list of other programs. The five-star is now helping push the narrative that Alabama is the best place for prospects inside the state of Alabama to play football.

“If you want to stay home and you want to be a part of something special, come to the best team in the state, and that’s Alabama,” Morgan told reporters after his announcement.

The Crimson Tide currently has commitments from five 2026 in-state recruits with commitments from Morgan, Ezavier Crowell, Zyan Gibson, Zay Hall and Kamhariyan Johnson.

Alabama continues to push for Anthony Jones, who is a five-star linebacker out of Mobile.
