The variety of changes on the Florida State roster and coaching staff has put pressure on Alabama football to watch a lot of different film ahead of their season opener.

The Crimson Tide’s secondary has been watching film on the Seminoles’ new additions and has been breaking down film of past Gus Malzahn offenses.

“They really haven’t all played together,” Alabama safety, Bray Hubbard said. “So, you really have to go just see what they do at the other schools they were at and watch some of the offenses, watch some of Gus Malzahn’s offenses and just kind of see where those guys will fit in.”

A few of those guys have caught Hubbard’s attention.

“I mean, they all stand out,” Hubbard said. “I mean, you got to watch all of them. I guess you could say Squirrel White from Tennessee. I mean, everybody knows about him. The guy from USC (Duce Robinson), fast guy. So, I’ll say probably those two and tight end from UCF (Randy Pittman). He does a really good job. He’s been with Coach Malzahn. So, he’s kind of their tight end in that offense.”

Alabama football’s defense is preparing for what could be considered an unpredictable Florida State offense for the aforementioned reasons.
