Alabama 'Emerging' For 2027 4-Star LB

The Alabama Crimson Tide are keeping a close eye on one of the top linebacker recruits in the 2027 college football recruiting class.

According to Rivals' Chad Simmons , the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, and Ohio State Buckeyes are "emerging" for 2027 four-star linebacker Kaden Henderson.

Henderson is a four-star linebacker on Rivals, but is a five-star prospect on 247Sports. He is the fourth-best recruit in Florida and the second-best linebacker recruit in the nation, per 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 33 overall recruit in the country for his class.

The Tide have two recruits in their 2027 recruiting class and have the No. 11 recruiting class in the country for that year, per 247Sports. They're hoping that Henderson will be their third recruit in the class, but will have to beat out some tough competition for his commitment.

Alabama is also still focusing on the 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked five in the nation. The program has multiple five-star recruits in its class, including EDGE recruit Xavier Griffin.

Alabama is set to start its 2025 campaign on the road on Saturday against the Florida State Seminoles. It will be a true road test for the Tide since Doak Campbell Stadium is one of the loudest stadiums in the country. The Tide come into the game as a 13.5-point favorite over the Seminoles.

Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
