The Alabama Crimson Tide announced on Tuesday that changes have been made to its 2026, 2027 and 2032 football schedules.
As for the 2026 football season, the Tide was set to face South Florida as one of its three nonconference opponents; however, the two have mutually agreed to move the matchup to the 2032 season.
Instead of facing USF, the Crimson Tide has scheduled Chattanooga. The Tide and the Mocs will face off on Sept. 12, 2026. The other two nonconference opponents for the Tide also include hosting matchups with Florida State and East Carolina.
As part of the schedule changes, the Crimson Tide has also added Marshall to its 2027 football schedule. Before the addition, the Tide had only one nonconference game on the 2027 schedule: a matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus.
The Crimson Tide has never faced the Thundering Herd before, but it has met Chattanooga four times since 2009. The Tide is 4-0 against the Mocs and most recently met with them in 2023, when Alabama won 66-10.
Alabama fans can expect the Tide to add at least one more nonconference game to the 2027 schedule at some point.
