Alabama has 97% chance to make playoffs if this happens, per ESPN CFP predictor

Alabama football appears to be in charge of its own College Football Playoff destiny ahead of a pivotal matchup with LSU. 

According to the Allstate College Football Playoffs predictor, the Tide currently have a 56 percent chance to make the first 12-team college football playoff.

However, the Crimson Tide’s chances skyrocket to 97 percent if they win out and don’t make the SEC Championship, per the predictor. There is a zero percent chance they get a first-round BYE, 60 percent chance they host a first-round playoff game and a 37 percent chance they will have to travel to play a first-round game.
