Alabama football extended an offer to Jaedyn Terry over the weekend as the Crimson Tide hosted him for an official visit.
Terry attends Manchester High School in Manchester, Georgia, and he is a member of the 2026 recruiting class. He garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites at the moment and is currently committed to Georgia Tech.
Terry was able to learn more about Alabama and bond with the Crimson Tide’s current players during his visit to Tuscaloosa. The instant chemistry he had with Alabama’s players were among his biggest takeaways from his official.
“I would definitely say the brotherhood,” Terry said when asked what was his biggest takeaway. “When I met with all of the players, it’s like we instantly had that bond.”
Alabama is a program Terry often dreamed about playing for as a kid.
“It is a very good program,” Terry told Touchdown Alabama “Growing up, it was always my dream school and now to get a chance to play there is like a dream come true. The coaches are real and care about developing players as athletes and as people.”
Georgia Tech still holds a commitment from Terry and would love to keep him. However, Alabama now looks to be in a good position to possibly flip him. The four-star could have an important decision on his hand.
The 6-foot-3 defensive back has the length college coaches are in hot pursuit of at the cornerback position. He does a good job at breaking on the football in coverage with the ability to use his length to his advantage in coverage.
