Donivan Moore is verbally committed to Auburn, but he is still feeling a push from Alabama, Ole Miss and others.

Moore is a 2027 four-star defensive lineman prospect out of Alabama. He is one of two 2027 recruits verbally committed to the Tigers.

Auburn picked up a commitment from Moore in February with Alex Golesh leading the way.

“It was just like coach Golesh how he came in,” Moore said “He just took it over the edge. I’ve been wanting to commit, but he just took it over the edge a little bit for me to commit there.”

Alabama football is one of the schools remaining in contact with the four-star. This contact has been led by the Tide’s defensive lineman coach Freddie Roach.

“That contact has been good,” Moore told Touchdown  Alabama. “I talk to coach Freddie. He calls my mom to check up on her and stuff like that. He told me just because I’m committed, he’s not going to stop recruiting me. I respect a man like that.”

Alabama will host Moore for an official visit on the weekend of May 29. Ole Miss will host him for an official visit in June.

The Auburn commit is focused on crafting his body for the next level.

“I definitely say getting stronger for sure,” Moore said. “I can always get stronger, put on just a little bit of weight, trying to get like that 290, just a lean one, so I can move with. I can keep moving fast.”

At 6-foot-4 and 273 pounds, Moore displays strength at the point of attack. He also possesses great length and an impressive frame with the ability to turn and run and get after the football. Moore is one of the nation’s top 2027 defensive lineman prospects.
