Alabama OLB coach goes to Sylacauga to get eyes on rising in-state Edge
Gary Cosby Jr.-Tuscaloosa News / USA TODAY NETWORK

Alabama football’s outside linebacker coach Christian Robinson made a trip to Sylacauga, Alabama and put his eyes on Jakari Brown on Monday.

Brown attends B.B. Comer High School. He currently holds three college football offers with offers from Appalachian State, Eastern Kentucky and West Alabama. However, his recruitment looks to have the potential to expand with a strong summer.

Robinson told Brown Alabama was interested in him after watching him work out.

The opportunity to show a member of Alabama’s coaching staff what he is capable of was a memorable moment for the junior.

“I loved it,” Brown told Touchdown Alabama. “Alabama is my dream school, and It’s a dream coming true.”

Robinson was complimentary of Brown’s ‘explosiveness and get off,’ per the 2026 recruit.

At 6-foot-4 and 215-pounds, Brown possesses a very explosive get-off with a great feel for timing the snap of the football.
