The Chicago Sky is currently one of the worst teams in the league. Unfortunately, this is the harsh reality this team is facing amid another disappointing campaign, which has now left them with the second-worst record in the WNBA at 9-28.

At the same time, however, there’s no denying that the Sky’s Angel Reese-led young core has a very promising future ahead. Now might not be their time, but it would not be a surprise if Chicago develops into a force to be reckoned with in the not-so-distant future.

Angel Reese Makes Bold Declaration on Chicago Sky Core

Apart from having several promising prospects on their side, the Sky also have some of the most fashionable youngsters in the league. In fact, Reese is adamant that she is part of the best-dressed group of young players in the WNBA.

Reese caught wind of a recent post from LeagueFits that featured her and Chicago rookies Hailey Van Lith and Maddy Westbeld. The post showcased the trio’s gameday outfits from Monday’s matchup against the Las Vegas Aces.

Reese jumped on the comments section to make a bold declaration about the Sky’s youngsters.

“YOUNGEST BEST DRESSED CORE IN THE LEAGUE,” she wrote.

Reese took center stage with her oversized pink jersey dress that heavily featured her personal branding. Van Lith, on the other hand, went with a long, black leather trench coat over a navy button-up shirt and wide-leg navy trousers.

As for Westbeld, the 6-foot-3 forward wore a cropped red leather jacket with a white bandeau/tube top, black patterned Bermuda shorts and red heels.

There was nothing ordinary about the trio’s respective gameday ensembles, which has been a regular occurrence for these three on a game-to-game basis.

As for their performances on the court, Reese registered a 10-point, 17-rebound double-double in another strong outing against the Aces. Van Lith, though, logged just one assist in four minutes of action, while Westbeld remained on the bench for the duration of the game.

The Sky ended up suffering another loss, 79-74, as Las Vegas marked its 11th straight victory.

Chicago will be back in action on Thursday in a road matchup against the Phoenix Mercury, which only means that fans can expect another set of eye-catching outfits for what Reese is calling the “youngest best dressed core” in the entire WNBA.
