Angel Reese Reacts to Lakers' New Post on Thursday

Angel Reese is currently working through her second season with the Chicago Sky, taking the necessary steps to help the organization improve as a whole.

Reese has posted incredible numbers, but the Sky have struggled under head coach Tyler Marsh.

In his first season leading the franchise, Chicago sits at 5-11, ranked as the No. 10 team in the WNBA standings.

While Reese looks to help the Sky improve, her brother, Julian Reese, is beginning his professional basketball career. After four seasons with the Maryland Terrapins, Julian Reese will begin his NBA adventure.

Julian Reese was recently included in the Los Angeles Lakers' Summer League roster, set to play in the July showcase.

After the final roster was announced, Angel Reese took to social media. She reposted the Lakers' roster circled Julian Reese's name, seemingly showing support to her brother.

Julian Reese was widely considered one of the best rebounders in the Big Ten during his time with the Maryland Terrapins. Much like Angel Reese, Julian Reese wreaks havoc on the glass.

During his last season at Maryland, Julian Reese posted 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

In four seasons with the Terrapins, Julian Reese averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.

Julian Reese and the Los Angeles Lakers will begin their Summer League journey on July 5 against the Golden State Warriors. They will play three games in the California Classic before moving on to the official NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas.
