Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese was a transformational player at the college level. After beginning her career close to home at the University of Maryland, she made a career-altering decision by transferring to LSU so she could play under legendary coach Kim Mulkey.
Not only was she a unanimous All-American during both of her seasons with the Tigers, but she also brought the program its first-ever National Championship in 2023. She became known for her charades in that championship game when she mocked Caitlin Clark and her "You Can't See Me" gesture, but she also proved to everyone that she could back up her talk.
Reese has remained deeply connected to the entire women's basketball community over the last few years despite her growing celebrity off the court. She is constantly highlighting other players and giving them their flowers, and Friday night was no different.
While watching UConn dismantle the UCLA Bruins in the Final Four of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, Reese commented on the play of Huskies star freshman Sarah Strong. She sent a four-word message on the Big East Freshman of the Year.
Sarah Strong so tough!

Strong was giving the Bruins everything that they could handle in the National Semifinal on Friday night, and one of the game's best players took notice. As just a 19-year-old freshman, it will be several years until fans have the opportunity to potentially watch Strong and Reese face off, but both of these talented players possess similar qualities.
Reese and the Sky will not be in action until the opening night of the WNBA season on May 17, where she'll take on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. Strong and her team, however, will have a quick turnaround as they face Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks in the National Championship on Sunday, April 6, at 3:00 p.m. EST.
