The NFL playoffs are officially underway. As day two of the Wild Card round unfolds, the bracket continues to inch closer to Super Bowl 59.

On the first day of the NFL playoff Wild Card round, the Houston Texans defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 32-12 and the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14.

During the matchup between the Ravens and Steelers, former Pittsburgh wide receiver Antonio Brown shared his thoughts on Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Brown believes Jackson should be the NFL MVP, given his elite play in the Ravens' run to the divisional round of the postseason.

"Lamar Jackson should be the NFL MVP," Brown said.

Jackson finished the win over the Steelers with two touchdowns and 175 yards, completing 16-of-21 pass attempts. He also served as the team's second-leading rusher, with 81 yards on 15 carries.

During the 2024 season, Jackson has recorded 41 touchdowns and 4,172 yards with a 66.7 completion percentage. He's also posted four touchdowns and 915 yards on the ground.

Jackson currently boasts the second-best odds to win the NFL MVP award on DraftKings Sportsbook (+320), trailing Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (-450),  per Kevin Rogers at Vegas Insider.

If Jackson were to secure the 2024 NFL MVP honors, he would be taking home the third MVP award of his career, having previously won in 2019 and 2023.
