There isn't really a college baseball atmosphere like the one that the Arkansas Razorbacks have created at Baum-Walker Stadium. They have some of the craziest fans in the sport, and it shows every single game, even if it's against some small school team.
Oh, but hosting a Super Regional where they would be playing Tennessee? You better believe the fans are going to show up. They showed up about eight to six hours before the gates even opened, and they usually do that for these postseason games if it means securing a good spot in the Hog Pen. The Hogs have built something special.
And, a large reason why the atmosphere is like that is because they are a successful team almost every single year, at least that's what it certainly feels like. They are now headed to Omaha, where the College World Series is hosted, for the 12th time in the history of their school's program after sweeping Tennessee on Sunday. And, it's their fifth trip in the last ten years.
It means a lot to this fan base to get back to the College World Series, because it feels like this team has as good of a shot to win it all as any team remaining does. And, when you think of it that way, it can make some of the fans emotional, as they were one fly ball catch away from winning it all in 2018 against Oregon State.
Those are some happy, happy Hogs!!!

Arkansas is headed back to Omaha for the first time since 2022! #WPS pic.twitter.com/e9X3f8n3GY
So, the players celebrated with the fans in a way you don't see often. They went to the concourse and gave the fans high-fives and then went out to the Hog Pen, which is located in the outfield, and spent time with the fans. After that, a few of the players jumped into the pond next to the stadium.

This team is fun, and they show it when they celebrate with the fans, who have been holding it down all year long. And to make things even better, they have a legit case to win it all.
When it came to true contenders entering this postseason, Arkansas was one of the SEC teams that stood out to me the most. They play with a lot of confidence, but they back it up with a pesky lineup and pitching that has the ceiling to be the best overall staff for the rest of the tournament. Dave Van Horn needs to get this monkey off his back, as he lacks a National Title. This Razorbacks team didn’t catch nearly as many headlines during the season as some recent seasons, particularly 2021, but they’re playing their best brand of baseball at the most important time. As one of the few national seeds remaining, most other top-tier squads around college baseball cannot say the same. As the College World Series field currently sits, it’s nearly impossible to not have the Razorbacks as one of the teams in the top echelon with a chance at winning it all. - A to Z Sports, Adam Holt
