The 2025 Banana Ball World Tour is making its way to Dudy Noble Field in Starkville.
As one of 39 stops for the Savannah Bananas, "The Greatest Show in Sports" is expected to bring an outstanding crowd to MSU's campus. Sources tell Athlon Sports the two-night affair is nearly sold out for both nights with limited tickets available.
The Party Animals will headline the two-day event at Dudy Noble Field on Friday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23. The games will start at 8 p.m. ET each night.
"We are excited to partner with the Greater Starkville Development Partnership to bring the Party Animals to the Best Small Town in the South," MSU Director of Athletics Zac Selmon said. "This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to enjoy a unique game at the Carnegie Hall of College Baseball and visit our incredible community and campus."
Dudy Noble Field and the Diamond Dawgs hold the record for the largest attendance for an NCAA on-campus facility and is the only NCAA program to boast attendances of 14,000 or more. Of the top 25 all-time college baseball on-campus attendance records, Dudy Noble Field finds itself on the list 24 times, according to MSU athletics.
"The partnership is excited to welcome the Party Animals to Starkville," Director of Tourism for the Greater Starkville Development Partnership Paige Hunt said. "It's a wonderful opportunity for visitors to experience Mississippi's college town and a brand of baseball they've never experienced before."
Banana Ball has become the fastest and most entertaining game in sports. With its fast-paced rules and emphasis on continuous play, Banana Ball strips away the often criticized lulls and lengthy pauses typical of traditional baseball, delivering a high-octane and entertainment-packed game that keeps both players and fans on their toes. Banana Ball has 11 unique rules. The most notorious rule is that if a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an out.
Any remaining tickets will be on a lottery basis. Visit www.thepartyanimals.com/tickets for more information.
