Bath Looks To Extend Dominance Over Tigers In Gallagher Premiership Final

Bath will enter the Gallagher Premiership final with growing confidence after two recent victories over the Leicester Tigers, including a commanding 43–15 home win and a narrow 20–15 triumph earlier in the season.

The match at Twickenham Stadium in London will test both sides, but momentum appears to be with Bath. Their blend of structure and speed has dismantled Leicester twice, making them a formidable threat in Saturday’s clash.

Tigers head coach Michael Cheika, however, remained composed during a press conference ahead of the decider. “It’s up to us to believe in ourselves. That’s the first step to achieving, believing that we can achieve it,” said Cheika, whose side is looking to flip the script and deny Bath a title.

Leicester’s road to the final has been marked by resilience and grit. Their ability to adjust mid-match could be critical in halting Bath’s rhythm, especially after conceding 63 points across their last two meetings.

Bath’s attacking structure has been firing, particularly at home, where their recent 28-point victory against Leicester showcased sharp execution and backline cohesion. Fly-half Finn Russell’s kicking game and leadership have stood out, while their forward pack continues to generate quick ball at the breakdown.

Cheika emphasized that belief alone will not be enough. “Finals are won in moments. We know that. It’s about what you do when the pressure’s on,” he said.

Twickenham (Allianz Stadium), the home of English rugby, will host a clash between two traditional powers with vastly different recent histories. Bath chases their first title since 1996. The Tigers, perennial contenders, are aiming to spoil that party with a display of discipline and belief.
