The Chicago Bears have been on an interviewing spree ever since their season ended and they relieved Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy of their duties. In the short few weeks since the positions became available, the Bears have several head coaching candidates on their radar. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the McCaskey family and Ted Phillips have narrowed their search down to three finalists for the head coach position.

Head Coach Finalists

Dennis Allen, the defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Sants, is interviewing with the Bears for a second time tomorrow. The Bears also requested second interviews with former Lions head coach Jim Caldwell and Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.

The Chicago Bears do not have a general manager in place yet. But their head coaching interviews continue regardless. The belief is they will still interview Morocco Brown and Omar Khan, two of the highest names on their list. Furthermore, the Bears’ vacancies could be filled by the end of this week. Now that the NFL Playoffs are down to the final four, more coaching candidates are becoming available.

The Bears’ head coaching finalists are slim now. They will need to act quickly if they want to get the proper candidate of their choosing. Considering the Bears refuse to fire any front-office or coaching personnel mid-season, the jump they have on the competition is dwindling down.
