Who’s playing for the MAC Championship?

The winner of this between Bowling Green and Miami University is in the MAC Championship no matter what. Ohio plays Ball State at the same time that this is going on.

If the Bobcats win, the loser here is out. If Ball State loses, Miami is in no matter what. And if Bowling Green loses if Ball State loses? The two didn’t play, so it’ll go down the tie-breaker list after the MAC weekend is over.

The Falcons are red hot on a five-game winning streak. It’s even more impressive considering three of the games were on the road and one was against Toledo.

Miami is on a six-game winning streak including that win over Ohio. Win, and it gets a chance to win a second straight MAC title.

Bowling Green vs Miami University: Who Will Win?

Miami doesn’t have a whole lot of scoring explosion, but it’s the best in the MAC at yards per completion.

It’s winning on steadiness and a terrific defense that stepped it up over the second half of the season.

Bowling Green has a bit more offensive pop, but not by much. It takes the ball away, but so does Miami. Miami doesn’t turn it over, and the Falcons don’t either.

Both are very good, and there’s an outside chance this is just one of two. And Bowling Green will be there. It’ll win the third down battles, and that will be just enough to get by on a few late field goals.
