Brenden Queen Locks Down Fourth 2025 ARCA Victory in the General Tire 150 at Dover

After qualifying from the pole 22.770 seconds ahead of Joe Gibbs’ Racing’s Brent Crews, Brenden Queen has notched his fourth ARCA Menards win of the season and first with the East Series at Dover Motor Speedway. The series points leader captured the checkered flag in a photo finish at the General Tire 150 by 7.13 seconds over Camden Murphy, who was making his series debut with Nitro Motorsports.

From the moment the green flag dropped, it was clear that the Pinnacle Racing driver was destined for success, sweeping all 150 race laps. However, this did not come without its challenges, and taking on Brent Crews, who is two-for-two this season, and newcomer Camden Murphy were just the tip of the iceberg.

 Brenden Queen’s Unrelenting Dominance

ARCA Menards standout Brenden Queen has proven time and time again why he deserves to be in the series’ top spot, and Friday’s performance in the General Tire 150 at Dover Motor Speedway was no exception. Queen took on the ever-challenging 1.0-mile track known as the “Monster Mile,” due to its steep 24-degree banking, 9-degree straightaway banking, high speeds, and tight racing conditions, flawlessly.

Dover is a track that many drivers find difficult due to its uneven concrete surface, which tends to wear out tires more quickly than an average asphalt track and amplifies the vibrations felt while inside the race car. Additionally, the high-speed corners cause g-forces that are physically taxing on drivers. Therefore, if the track’s unforgiving nature challenged Brenden Queen, he didn’t let it show. The 28-year-old masterfully coursed through every twist and turn with precision and speed, sweeping lap after lap to win the race’s first stage.

With the stage one victory in hand, Queen prepared for the second with a broken track bar on his No. 28 Chevrolet Super Sport. Track bars are responsible for controlling the rear axle’s centerline on a stock car, which affects its handling. The unfortunate mishap occurred as a result of Dover’s relentless surface jarring the car’s chassis. Brent Crews, who tested Queen through the first half of the race, succumbed to Dover’s wrath as well after blowing a tire at lap 45 and crashing, ending his race bid early.

Stage Three Recovery and Win

Ahead of Stage 3, the broken track bar on Brenden Queen’s No. 28 Chevy slowed his momentum on the track. For a split second, it seemed like Camden Murphy would squander his lead at lap 54, but not for long. Miraculously, Queen was able to maintain control of his car and hold it just steady enough to hold onto the top spot ahead of the second race break.

Pinnacle Racing Group crew members were also able to repair the broken track bar. The fix gave him a one-up over Murphy on the last 40 laps of the race’s final stage after he lost track position on back-to-back restarts. With Crews out and Murphy standing no chance of claiming the top spot, Brenden Queen was able to assert his special brand of dominance across the finish line and into victory lane.

Final Thoughts

Brenden Queen once again put on a standout performance at Dover Motor Speedway in the ARCA Menards Series’ General Tire 150. The win now puts Queen at 158 in points standings for the ARCA Season, followed by Lawless Alan (157), Lavar Scott (157), Andy Jankowiak (145), and Jason Kitzmiller (135) to cap the top-five series points holders. Will Queen be able to hold onto this spot with only ten races left to go in the 2025 ARCA Menards Season? The odds look pretty favorable if he performs similarly to that of the General Tire 150 in the weeks to come. Stay tuned.
