Brumbies winger Andy Muirhead is on the verge of a significant milestone, set to play his 100th game for the rugby club in their upcoming Super Rugby Pacific clash against Queensland Reds in Brisbane this Saturday Evening.

Muirhead born in Brisbane signed with South Brisbane Magpies in the premier competition and played until 2014 and moved to New Zealand to play ITM cup under coach Tana Umaga, All blacks great.

The Brumbies star moved to Australia in 2015 to help South’s secure the premiership title that year, in 2016, he got a chance to play with Brisbane city in the NRC rugby competition following his stellar season.

Towards the end of 2016, he moved to Canberra for a chance to train with ACT Brumbies and later was rewarded an opportunity to join the tour to South Africa and Argentina, the rest is history.

The Australian born who joined the Brumbies in 2017 after moving from Queensland has become a key player and fan favorite scoring 33 tries to date.

The 31 year old made his Super Rugby debut against the Southern Kings, Andy scored two tries and had a strong finish to the season and after his efforts he was rewarded a full time contract with Brumbies where he is at ever since.

The Brumbies coming off a busy week are aiming to make the occasion memorable with a victory against a strong Reds also highlighting the win to Andy for reaching this achievement in his home state.

Muirhead will feature in the starting lineup alongside Corey Toole and Tom Wright in the backline while the only change sees Ryan Lonergan return to partner Noah Lolesio in the halves.
