BYU Basketball continues to build impressive non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season. In the past 24 hours, two more national powers were added.
According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, BYU is finalizing an agreement to play UConn at TD Garden in Boston on Nov. 14 or 15. The Huskies are coming off back-to-back NCAA championships in 2023 and 2024.
The two programs have only met once before in the first round of the 2003 NCAA Tournament. UConn beat BYU 58-53 behind a great performance by future NBA star Emeka Okafor.

The UConn game adds to an already challenging early-season slate for the Cougars, who are also scheduled to face Villanova on Nov. 3 in Las Vegas, Clemson on Dec. 9 in New York City, and will compete in an ESPN Events Invitational over Thanksgiving week in Orlando. That event includes Georgetown, Miami and Dayton.
Additionally, BYU announced a rematch with Wisconsin on Wednesday. The teams have met twice with the latest coming in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. BYU lost the first contest, but earned a memorable 91-89 win over the Badgers in Denver this past March.
