The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Indiana Pacers featured an unexpected guest photographer: Caitlin Clark. And she snapped one of the game’s most iconic moments, and that’s LeBron James arguing with the refs.
The Lakers are on the last leg of their Eastern Conference road trip. They lost to the Detroit Pistons a few nights earlier, snapping their season-high nine-game winning streak. Unsurprisingly, many fans showed up to watch LeBron James and Luka Doncic play against the Pacers.
And Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark did not show as a fan, but as a sideline photographer as well.

That’s quite a hilarious moment from Clark. Hope she captured that intense moment from LeBron. LBJ probably had no idea that a WNBA star took a photo of him with an animated face while arguing with game officials.
The Lakers bested the Pacers in a high-scoring game, 137-130. Luka Doncic had 43 points for LA. LeBron James chipped in with 23 markers in the win. The Pacers were led by Pascal Siakam’s 20 points.
With LA emphasizing more on the duo of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, LeBron James had to sacrifice his game for the team’s betterment. While the decision to do so was tough, he’s fully embraced it now, even when low-scoring nights from him have become common.
“It’s the role that I’m playing for the ballclub. In order for us to win ball games, it’s the role that I’m playing. And that’s just how the game was going,” LeBron James said after LA’s loss to Detroit.
And he should be, considering that the Lakers have a real shot at an NBA title this season. They are hitting their strides as of late, winning against teams above .500 due to their newfound offense and defense.
