Louisville, KY – The No. 4-ranked University of Louisville volleyball team showcased their dominance in a 3-0 victory over Florida State on Friday night. Aiko Jones led the charge for the Cardinals with a .440 hitting percentage, 13 kills, four digs, and two blocks.

Louisville improved their overall record to 19-2 and their ACC record to 10-1 with the win. They were efficient on offense, hitting .280 and also recorded four aces and six blocks. Charitie Luper contributed eight kills, one ace, and nine digs, while Cara Cresse chipped in with eight kills and two blocks. Anna DeBeer added eight kills, one ace, and one block to the stat sheet. Elena Scott had an outstanding performance as libero, tallying 22 digs, six assists, and an ace. Setter Elle Glock played a vital role with 34 assists, 10 digs, an ace, and a block.

Florida State struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match, hitting just .088 with one ace and five blocks. Audrey Koenig was the leading scorer for the Seminoles, recording 11 kills and 10 digs.

The Cardinals will look to continue their winning streak as they prepare to face the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday afternoon at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena. The game is set to start at 1 p.m.

In a set-by-set recap, the Cardinals took control early in the first set, building a lead with a combination of strong serving and powerful kills. The Seminoles made a late comeback, but Louisville held on to win the first set 25-20.
