Cardinals Read: No. 12/3 Swimming and Diving Team Secures Split against No. 17/NR Notre Dame

In a thrilling Atlantic Coast Conference faceoff, the No.12/3 University of Louisville men’s and women’s swimming teams took on No.17/NR Notre Dame in a split decision. The No.3-ranked Louisville women dominated with a score of 218-82, while the No.17 Notre Dame men narrowly defeated the No.12 Cards 162-138.

The Louisville women’s team produced multiple event winners, including Gabi Albiero, Lucy Mehraban, Kim Herkle, and Christiana Regenauer. Albiero won the 200 fly, 100 fly, and was part of the 200 Medley Relay. Mehraban emerged victorious in the 200 free, 100 free, and 400 Free Relay.
