The University of Louisville women’s golf team kicked off its final tournament of the fall season on Monday at The Ally Tournament in West Point, Mississippi. After completing the first round, the Cardinals find themselves in 10th place with a collective score of 18-over-par.

Leading the pack for the Cardinals is Hana Ryskova, who has been having a strong fall season. Ryskova shot an impressive 2-over-par 74 in the first round, placing her in a tie for 17th overall. Not far behind is Gabbi Bentancourt, who carded a 3-over-par 75, putting her in a tie for 28th overall. Bentancourt’s round included an eagle on the 10th hole, along with two birdies.

Beatriz Barrios had a solid performance as well, finishing one shot behind Bentancourt with a 4-over-par 76, tying her for 37th overall. Rylee Suttor is currently tied for 63rd overall after shooting a 9-over-par 81. Carly Haines made her season debut on Monday but struggled, posting a 14-over-par 86, placing her in 68th position. Millie Cottrell, competing as an individual, carded a 5-over-par 77, landing her in a tie for 46th overall.
